I am now CCENT certified
I gave my first Cisco certification exam and passed.
I am now looking forward to other certifications.
I want to get some advice on which certifications should I now focus on? CCENT is prerequisite for all CCNA level exams like: CCNA R&S, CCNA security, CCDA, CCNA service provider, etc.
Kindly suggest :)
CCNA R&S should absolutely be your next one. You want a firm grasp of all the basics before specializing.
Also, regarding your passing the test:
:applause:
Congragalations!! the 1st one is ushally the hardest. I would go after the CCNA R/S also
+1 for CCNA R&S next
Congrats!!!!! :pub:
 i also agree, go with R&S u need the fundamentals and then try to search for a job in the field. Many times your first job defines your career as a routing/security/wireless/voice guy.
Agree whole-heartedly regarding R&S - get a strong foundation in general route/switch and that will take you far... no matter where you go.. working on Cisco or otherwise. Honestly I'd focus on getting the CCNP R&S before anything else unless you have a specific need.
...... and I JUST used that knowledge to root cause an issue with MST a customer experienced who was mistakenly thinking in a per-VLAN mindset. Layer 2 matters, folks.... :naughty:
Congratulations, let's hope certain other members take example and stop procrastinating their VPN exam!

I find I do better on the practice exams after reviewing the material in the book. I have until 21 June to get this done, so that means less than 40 days...
Thank you guys :)
CCNA Routing & Switching concepts I'm comfortable with....definitely CCNA will be my next choice.
And done with CCNA R & S :D
It was tough!!
I am so confused with what certification should I next [emoji26]
I don't want to take CCNP so soon i.e. Without any industry experience. I will study though.
I'm studying for CCDA and CCNA wireless but it's of no use to go for all exams Cisco offers without knowing where I am going to end up. (Not affordable).
I have seen seniors going towards security with Security+ or CCNA security and getting jobs at companies like Dell secure.
Or may be I should go for rhcsa and then rhce? I have seen internship opportunities asking for both CCNA and Rhce [emoji849]
My goal is to get a job by fall or next spring. Any suggestions what should I do next?
Entry level jobs are yours for the asking, almost, right now with the CCNA. Once the recruiters have your resume in their pipeline, in about 2 months you'll get offers.
Go for a P-level cert in a field you are interested in. If you don't know yet, then get the entry-level job first and see what interests you the most.
Thank you deanwebb I will start applying [emoji4]
Definitely P-level certification once I get some experience [emoji4]
