So who is going this year? I just filled out my registration.
I'll be there.
I'm hoping for RSA...
So far it looks like I'm going.....but it's not real until I get my flight itinerary and I register.
I will be there! We will probably be booking flights, hotels, rental car, and classes next week when everyone gets back from PTO. I am excited, never been to San Diego.
Flight and hotel booked just waiting for the travel lady to purchase registration.
Coo! Are any of you guys doing the Sunday techtorials?
I fly in on the 6th. Have not look at the schedule since im not booked yet.
But.... i might be interested. What are you seeing?
Im booking today.
@burnyd If I get the approval I will be doing the 4hr hands on ACI Class - LTRCRT-2611 - ACI - Application Deployment with External Connectivity
Trying to go to Interop instead this year. Definitely going next year though - VEGAS!
I'm going. When do session booking open?
sent from phone.
If you're a NetVet, soon.
Yep still waiting for the booking.
Yeah I am going for the 8 hour aci class.
I registered a week or so ago!
I'm going. Doing the full Tuesday to Friday. Costs a bomb, I told the boss I wasn't interested in going since the ticket costs $2600 for the four days. He said let him think about it and we hang up the phone. Then I hear the reception girls phone ring and her pick up and say "Hi [boss's name]". He just told her to book it. So with the ticket and the flights and accommodation it must be near $4k for 4 days.
Does that mean a pay rise is on the cards this year then? :)
Just registered for RSA in SFO. Fun times.
I just received some more info on Live!

Dress Code
The dress code for the Cisco Live program is business casual.
But, my dress code for work is combat shorts / festival shorts and a short sleeved polo-type shirt. I don't think people will see that as business casual. Guess I'll have to wear jeans, poly-type shirt and skateboard kicks.
:awesome:

I work for a teen clothing retailer and we do not dress business casual. We wear jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts. If we wear khaki's and a polo people ask if we are interviewing somewhere. I went to Cisco Live in 2013 and wore cargo shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops. I don't think it really matters to be honest.

Good question, I haven't seen where I can start scheduling classes yet either.
Someone from cisco mentioned on twitter Net-Vet registration is mid-march and for everyone else its the end of the month.
Looks like they are still finalizing slots and presentations as we speak.
It opened for some NetVets today.
I havent even started looking through the catalog...
It should open up for everyone on the 31st I believe?
31st of April?

Lol
Ha, March 31st for everyone March 24th for netvets.
All scheduled!
Mostly setup.
So for everyone going what say you about a NF meetup?
Last year, just me and killabee met up. If you guys can get at least 3 together, that will break the NF record and set the initial NFs record.
(See what I did there?)

Well, who's got a hefty expense account?
I'll be there this year. Having gone through my scheduling I'm super excited. Plus, CCIE Written is scheduled for Wednesday morning (so let's avoid tuesday night for a meet-up).
Well Wednesday night is the concert. Still have not heard anything out of INE for their party. Starting to think they will not have one.
They announce their party late every year so I wouldnt worry about it. Monday night is probably the best day. I do not think a lot goes on Monday night. Tuesday I believe is the CCIE party.
I think I actually get to go this year, never been before!
