I think this is great and is a direction that is desired by many. But why is it up to a 3rd party to solutionise this? Why dont Cisco, Microsoft, slack, google etc all get together and devise a standard that allows this to take place. While they're at it, why not solution SIP TLS encrypted video calls as well.
So Trillian from back in the day? I was wondering the other week when someone would do this. We deal with a lot of customers that use different platforms. Not having to install every app would be nice.

same reason all the countries of the world can't get together and devise a standard that allows everyone to get along.

Well, if they'd just all use Belkin switches and routers instead of that Cisco garbage, we'd make some real headway in that direction. :smug:
