One of my buddies turned me on on Jelly Roll Morton, early jazz piano player and singer. The link below leads into ~100 of the Library of Congress recordings done in 1938. Jelly roll is awesome on jazz piano, great story teller, and shed a bit of what life was like in the early 1900's in New Orleans and Memphis, if you are a history buff.
