Title: ASDM on ASA SSM
Post by: icecream-guy on January 06, 2015, 12:35:07 PM
So does anyone have ASDM two-factor authentication configured and working for access to an ASDM GUI interface when the ASA SSM is configured in multi-context mode?   seems silly that this wouldn't work, as it would be a major security issue.
Cisco TAC referenced CSCtf23419 (need CCO Login).  no workaround available.

I can add a local account to ACS and log in like that but for security sake that's a no-no.

apparently it's been an issue for at least 7 years

Lolz... makes me very interested to see what happens when SourceFire takes over the firewall biz 100% in Cisco. Do they keep ASDM, or do they get something that doesn't require Java 6 to run?
