Gentleman I give you the who's driking thread? Because naturally networkers are booze hounds.
Cheers lads.

At 8:24 AM, I'm just drinking me vitamin water. (Vitamin pronounced the British way... watched IT crowd last night, and it's affected me accent.)
Knob Creek and Sam Adams Rebel IPA last night.
Feel asleep watching INE OSPF videos around 11 :)
And after what feels like a million gins and a sprinkling of beers I made it back from a 30th alive.
Also someone got engaged so that was fun too :)
nice! Buddies and I have started using Uber for any drunken outings. Works out great and no one has to worry about being the DD

I'm with you. I bought a bottle of makers mark 8 months ago, have yet to open it.
Coffee, it isn't frowned upon at work. ;)
Beer isn't either, in some places in Europe...

Perks of being in IT for a brewery? Lol
In the last two weeks I bottled 11 gallons worth of booze. 5 gal of Honey Ale, 5 gal of Cherry Stout, and 1 gal of Hard Cider.

Not really, I don't drink.
I'm a non-drinker myself, but I do try to keep current on trends in alcohol consumption to assist my friends that do drink.
Old Speckled Hen is a popular beer around here of late.
For fun, I like to order a non-alcoholic Black Russian. If I get an empty glass, we know we got a bartender with a sense of humor. If I get an empty glass and we're billed for a Black Russian, then we know we got a bartender with a big ol' stick up his butt.
This past weekend, I encountered the Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker

Spring is here for me. Switching off my Sonic winter blend (cranberry and vanilla) and over to my spring blend (blue coconut and vanilla). Yum.
Shiner birthday is a chocolate stout this year. Yum

I can only handle thicker beers during the winter months. Chocolate stout eh, I prefer and Imperial stout myself. High alcohol helps cut the thickness.
I have been digging the New Belgium Rampant imperial IPA for a while now. I just cant get enough IPA!
Mead drunk from the skulls of my PKI team. I finally got the certs to install! VICTORY!

Dogfish Head 120 minute Imperial India Pale Ale, if you can get a bottle or two. It was worth the $11 I paid for a 12oz bottle, I'd do it again. Comes in around 18%

Heard about it but never have seen it here locally. I'm headed to the Oregon/California next weekend. I'll see if I can't find any out there.
My liquor store gets a couple cases here or there. He has me on the list for 6 bottles when he gets another batch. Which was supposed to be last week but they delivered to the wrong location. When they told them to send it back to my store they took that as send it back to distribution. Never made it back into town ;(
I dunno why, but I've never been fond of heavy hops.
Here my newly invented drinking game. Watching Ancient Aliens on the history channel, Friday nights. Every time the narrator says "ancient astronaut theorists" you have to drink.

Brewed a Mexican Cerveza clone last night and an IPA tonight. Got plans to do a Ginger Beer and my usual Amber Ale soon. Gonna drink good this summer :)

Yum! Ive never tried a ginger been and Im not sure if I would like it. But I do love ginger so it might work.
The first ginger beer I made was off the charts overkill. Way too much ginger. I've found some more recipes and found that the recipe I used had way too much in it. I have a buddy that vacations in the islands a lot and I guess ginger beer is big there. So he's always asking me to make some. Compared to beer it's a rather simple process so here's to nothing.
This is an awesome recipe for alcoholic ginger beer. http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/30492-ginger-beer-recipe-scratch-brew-no-kit/
I find the better home made ginger beers use honey or dark sugars.
kind of hard to drink all day if you don't get started in the morning.....

I didn't see this post before. I'll have to look it up when I get home and I'm not filtered. Didn't get a change to make Ginger Beer this summer. Fall is around the corner to Pumpkin Ale is on the list for the next few weeks.
