Permanent Residency approved!

I'm away in Bali at the min for a break. While I'm here I received an email that my Residency visa for Australia has been approved! Now I'm no longer constrained to the company I work for, which gives me piece of mind. And now I can start planning my future instead of not knowing what will happen when my sponsored visa expired in December 2017. Planning such as buying a property.

Also on the same day, I broke my smartwatch. :/

I can't describe how much of a load-off the approval notice is. It would be a load off too if they had responded with a "no way Jose!" notice, ie not approved. Because even then I could start looking forward with making plans to return to the UK.

Cool! Certainty is always good. But buying property in Australia I hear is gonna cost you some AUS$$$...
