Arms lie cisco is working on software only operating system, rather than bundled with hardware. Tricky nice I guess, pressure by increasing white box sales used I cloud data centers.

Interesting that it claims to be able to offer newer features on older hardware.  :think:

Have you seen the "Expressway" series? That runs on VMware as a VM and has all sorts of fancy features that previously only hardware provided, such as transcoding and video conferencing. It did used to be Tandberg though.
