A sincere thank you to all of the Cisco certification candidates who have used a Premium subscription as part of their study program these past three+ years. In order to focus our efforts on offering best-in-class self-study solutions, the Cisco Learning Network will no longer sell this subscription-based service after Aug 13, 2017. For those of you currently enrolled in an active subscription, you will continue to have access to your Cisco Learning Network Premium content until your subscription expires.

Taken as a 'freebie' along with courses you might be taking anyway, its great.

Taken in isolation, its going to be reeeeeeal expensive. And even after you get 100 points (the cheapest way is 750USD for an online course for 40 points... do the math), you still need to fork out a 400 USD administrative fee!

I get why its restricted only to Cisco (TM) courses, but in practice its a bit silly eh (unlike say CISSP renewal). Why shouldn't that 3-day APNIC/ARIN/RIPE run IPv6 course (I've done this exact course, was great, included BGP labs in GNS3) count for example.

Also, expert level only, not sure why its not open to professional level.
