I saw this today https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/online-exam-proctoring.html

Looks like your webcam and microphone would have to be on, dont think that would bother me for an hour.

I'm interested in Devnet.

Do they also prohibit mirrors and trick cameras?

Oooh, here's one... Camera set up on the "test-taker's" PC, but the actual test is running on another PC, where the guy is cheating like a felon, out of view of the camera.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

It doesn't even need to be on another PC. I can just put a fake keyboard and mouse on the desk, split the video feed, and put another setup on the other side of the wall. Then I sit in front of the camera pretending to take the test. The guy in the other room actually takes it, and with no camera he can have another system sitting there to help. There is no sure fire way to prevent cheating in a remote setup like this. You do what you can to get rid of most cheating, and hope it is enough.

It says that before the test can be taken, the system needs to be checked out. I'm sure Cisco has thought of most ways that the test could be frauded. They've been doing this a very long time and there is absolutely no sign of any exams questions and answers being posted online from Cisco exams pre-COVID.

Not.

It's a tale as old as time.

Did anyone find a full list of which tests are available? All I've found is "CCNA, Devnet, and more"

All written, proctored Cisco Certification exams can be taken online with a few exceptions:

    100-110 ENU CCENT (Invitation Only)
352-011 ENU Cisco Certified Design Expert Practical Exam
352-001 ENU Cisco Certified Design Expert Qualification Exam

So almost everything.

the real question is how long they keep this open for? This really hurts their locations with pearsonvue. I hope they keep online an option. I hate going to testing centers.

Unless this fails hard then they should be encouraged to keep it and provide more online options. I think this is the way the world will be going from this point forward.
