Anyone watching the deals for Amazon's Prime Day? How are you feeling about it?
Personally I feel disappointed in the items being sold. It seems like someone is cleaning out their warehouse and offloading it.

I got a cheap hard drive and an LED for my camera, but most everything is crap.
And for the love of god give me an optoin to not show:
stuff that's already sold out
stuff that's not available yet
Stuff that is more that 3 hours old

I tend to buy stuff when I need it. Haven't been by Amazon to-day.

babies and mortgages are wonderful ways of sharpening your 'do I really need that' test....

I'm at the stage where the only things I can think of are like of not having an SSD in my spare laptop..... or a 4k TV (for all that 4k content that I have... not....)

I have a few projects going on this summer that require more power tools. So I was keeping an eye out for a good deal on my list of items. None that I saw though so oh well. Projects will continue and no extra money saved.

I can't be the only one who thought this was about Prime numbers...

Sorry to disappoint.

Nope, that is what I thought at first as well. Especially with Pi Approximation Day (22/7) just around the corner.

I got a few things... But the savings were barely there. Got a braided USB iPhone 6 cable for the USB cable destroyer that is my lovely GF. Also picked up 2 books for cheap. Other than that... It was junk and not worth what I saved.

Some of the stuff was total junk. But they made money off it, so I guess it couldn't have been that bad. I bet a bunch of it was Excess and Obsolescence inventory that had already been written off... 100% margins at that point... According to the books anyway
