Personal Information of up to 4.6 Million Neiman Marcus Customers Potentially Exposed in Breach

What happened?
Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus announced on Sep 30, 2021 that about 4.6 million of its customers may have had their personal information compromised in a data breach that occurred in May 2020. The personal information stolen in the breach varied and may have included names and contact information, payment card numbers and expiration dates, and virtual gift card numbers. Cyber thieves may have also stolen usernames, passwords, and security questions and answers associated with Neiman Marcus online accounts.

What should I do about it?
We recommend changing your credentials for any online account that is similar to those used for your Neiman Marcus account, if you have one.
