WTF Cisco WTF

---
We are writing to inform you that a security misconfiguration has been found in one of our applications. This may have resulted in your Cisco.com credentials (user ID and password) becoming inadvertently discoverable by a limited number of trusted Cisco administrators. There has been no public exposure of your credentials. However, as a precaution, you will need to reset your password. Also, if you have chosen to use the same credentials for any non-Cisco accounts, we recommend you change those credentials as well. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Data involved in the incident is limited to username and password. The issue was found internally and a remedy was immediately put in place. All records of the data have been permanently deleted, and steps are being taken to protect against such incidents in the future. There is no indication that the information has been used for malicious purposes.

Information can be found on our event response page: http://www.cisco.com/content/en/us/about/security-center/20160215-security-announce.html
