At one of our locations we have a business grade fibre internet connection. A new comms room has been built at this location and so I need to arrange for the circuit provider to come out to the site, do a survey and then arrange for the fibre to be moved a few feet into the new room and rack.

I've been trying to get the site survey part arranged for coming up to over 4 weeks now.

Every time you try and do something here it's like it's the first time it's ever been done

Not much better in the US, as I've been waiting over two months for a local service provider to receive their power pole attach permits from the local power utility to land fiber at a site.

Dean, that's exactly our experience with the NBN

I've heard that it's coming to the area where I work this month. Hopefully can bin the ADSL backup we have in favour of something more usable for an office. It seems they've not really planned the roll out, areas with no houses have it and largely populated areas like the city where I work, doesnt!
