OK, Les Claypool is DEFINITELY not the good music to study to. It is a little... how you say... eccentric?

no not study. Les is pretty heavy on the base lines..
good for "keep you awake during long drives and sales presentations."

100% guaranteed to mess up your study session, but that bass player got his start in the French band Magma back in the early 1970s, and listening to those recordings, I can't help but wonder if a young Les Claypool wasn't listening to them, as well. Lots of interesting similarities between Magma and Primus...

Hell yeah! Start off with the first track and get in a time machine back to 1975.

I'm doing a lot of stoner fuzz rock these days. I skip over the stuff that's just noodling away and latch on to bands that know how to write riffs with great hooks.
