Hi, I've got a Tplink W8980 N600 dual band router.
I'm looking for block the access at a station located over my home connected to my lan network.
I enabled Wireless Mac Filtering in 2.4 and 5Ghz freqs and I set Deny and I enabled the station to filter mac address.
But I notice that the station is still into my lan and it is using my data network.
Why?

Just to be clear, the device is connected to your wireless network, right?

Is MAC filtering enabled? (should be)
Are the filtering rules set to Allow or Deny? (should be allow)
Did you click on the check box and then click on "enable selected"

if you need pictures, the manual is here.

Hi, at page 61 of this manual you can read that the ALLOW gives access at the stations you have inserted into the list.
But since I'm looking for block only some mac addresses I think you need to select Deny..

you would select either allow or deny for the items in the list,    if you want block, select deny, if you want to let pass, select allow.

Indeed the router should block only those Mac addresses into the list with Deny but strangely the station isn't blocked to access...

mac address case sensitive?  try all upper case, or all lower case letters?
