I'm looking at either UI or EnGenius

Good afternoon, we (friend and I) are looking at setting up our AP and switches with either UI or EnGenius.

We'll be using pFsense or the router/firewall and VLAN controls. We would only be deploying 1 - 2 APs and a 24 port switch, either PoE or non (depending on costs). I think if we went with UI, I'd need to buy the cloudkey to manage them internally, right? We don't need any "cloud" access.

What are the major differences between the two brands?

How's long term firmware support?

Not familiar with either brand. How many endpoints will they be supporting? And I imagine you'd have to have the cloudkey to run them, as that's how everything runs these days... as a service. Stop paying for the sub, they cut off services pretty much.
