Crazy, maybe stupid idea I want to run by you guys. Will it even work?

So let's say I have an LTE hotspot device. can I attach a router that has LTE capability (i think GLInet has one) and/or an external antenna on the hotspot device AND put the hotspot device in a faraday bag? there are those routers that also have a lte/4g antenna on them. my goal is to completely mask/block off my telecommunication provider from being the first point of contact with my data. I know there's VPN and stuff but I feel this is safer maybe? What do you guys think? any recommendations if not good.

I really don't see what this buys you. If you have a device that relies on radio transmissions in a container that blocks those same transmissions, then you have a dead-end, communications-wise.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.
