Facebook BGP Issue To-Day

Looks like the FB outage is due to its BGP routes being withdrawn/removed. Ouch.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

Below is a link to a write up by FB on what happened. No major details. The part that raised my eyebrow was that their out of band network isn't really out of band.

Yeah... OOB should be, well, OOB, not Mostly OOB...
