Farewell to you old switch, you've been a workhorse in the industry for many many years.  It's sad to see you go, but it was due time to lay you to rest.

I am currently working on replacing a good bit of these within our network.  I had a non-E 4507 die on me last week.  Blade 5 in the chassis quit working and the replacement blade also wouldn't work.  We are going to swap it with a NIB 4507 E series this week.

we pulled ours out maybe 3 months ago. replaced with a beautiful 8 switch 2960x stack.
