Here is a pretty little bug we've seen lately after ASA upgrades to 9.1.6.4

apparently the ASA doesn't like SSH v1 servers.. or automated multiple copies to the backup servers.

Use SSHv2. Please. Think of the children.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.
