When a vendor tries to throw me under the bus, saying that his gear can't possibly be an issue and then spreads FUD about what I've done with my gear, he better be ready for me to check his gear's error logs to show that it's his stuff that needs a parameter or two to tweak for things to work properly.

And then he better be ready for my management to call his management and ask why he can't troubleshoot his way out of a paper bag with a pair of scissors

Vendor has some guys onsite today... they are looking at the vendor's gear... they found some parameters that needed adjusting...

Our networks do ALOT of VOIP and I made our salesman mad when I told the customer that need need more than 2 DS0s to run a site with a server and 2 VOIP units.
