Hi All,

I have a kind of problem with an old 2960G that is always asking for conf by tftp. Of course, everything on the switch related to tftp is disabled.

2960G-Servidores#sh run | i tftp
2960G-Servidores#

Switch   Ports  Model              SW Version              SW Image
------   -----  -----              ----------              ----------
*    1   24     WS-C2960G-24TC-L   12.2(35)SE5             C2960-LANBASE-M

This is happening for years now as nobody could help me with that.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

and then config the switch, saving the running-config to the startup-config.

I dont like this part; If I do the "no service config" switch will do a factory reset or will keep current configuration?

Is one of our server farm switch. Is in production...But as I see in the cisco webpage, nothing sais that the switch will need a reconfiguration.

It will keep the current config. But you will want to copy the running-config to the startup-config, or if it reboots, it will bring the problem back.
