EDIT: This is my biggest takeaway - create a file named HELP_YOUR_FILES.PNG and drop it in your main data storage directories, like C:\, documents, music, pictures, videos, downloads, dropbox, box, desktop, your main user folder, etc. That blocks CryptoWall from encrypting files in that directory.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

I am tempted to go and place a hidden image file with that name in all network share directories...

As long as it's not hidden to the CryptoWall search function, it'll do the job.
