I have a BLF speed dial for the HR girl in our Sri Lanka office. I notice that her BLF lamp on my phones keep saying her phone is in Do Not Disturb.

This is fine except there's no way for her to set her phone to do not disturb. There's no button or softkey on her phone configured for this. And I doubt she is unaware that setting the status in Jabber to "Do Not Disturb" updates the phone (it's apparently not meant to work this way yet anyway).

I'm unsure of the trigger yet but it seems to be when she goes offline on Jabber, the BLF of the phone shows her as DND. It's only happening for the one user. I'm yet to check if the handset really is going to DND, and the exact trigger.

Thought I'd post about it as found it a little bit funny

Jabber is a funny little program, but I like it.

I've still not been able to track this and she was off this week having a baby. I did ask her to postpone it :p

When she's signed out of jabber her desk phone will go DND. There's obviously a reason for it somewhere, just haven't tracked it yet and it's low priority.
