A couple thoughts on this:

We should start a discussion on what content should be tackled. I think a nice blend of quick videos (under three minutes) and detailed videos (five minutes and up) would be nice. Also, guidelines and maybe a tutorial on video creation; not all of us are Mac users ;)

Here are some quick videos that I'd like to see made:

  • generating new SSH keys for Kali linux
  • defaulting a network device (cisco, juniper, f5, palo alto, etc)
  • configuring IOS firewall
  • configuring IPS rules and verification of their application
  • building a GNS3 lab (local server)
  • using the cloud to power your GNS3 (dynamips) server
  • integrating Juniper into GNS3 (hot topic online)
  • building out a vSphere lab (with ESX, basic networking, vCenter)
  • building load balancer policies
  • using TunTaps on OS X and Linux
  • peeing on network-forum.com
  • how to build and apply an access-list (ios/junos)
  • differences in prefix-list and ACLs
  • building a basic OSPF network
  • different types of OSPF networks (NSSA, stubs, backbone, etc)
  • BGP routing
  • setting up cisco softphones and CME within GNS3
  • checking SHA1 and MD5 hashes in Windows, OSX and Linux
  • Cisco WAAS fundamentals
  • building a basic MPLS network
  • MPLS fundamentals
  • setting up VPCS within GNS3
  • why adopting a rescue pet is better than going to a breeder

Hahaha. No.

This is where I encourage you to get set up as a manager of the channel and to get to workin' on those other videos you suggested.

looking at my G+ profile, I somehow amassed over 4,000 followers (I'm only following two people and have no shared posts)

May be a good place to share junk after all.
