Kickstarter to Fund Projects

I want to start using Kickstarter to get money to buy the stuff I need for my projects when my bosses are too tight...  :evil:
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

I need a kickstarter to fund my retirement so I don't have to work no more.

hah too tight,  we got a data center here to move with 0 budget..
looks like everything will end up getting pushed to the cloud.
horrible horrible project and way to do things, if I could only go into details..
this move should have been started 5 years ago.

OTOH, I have another project that has great funding... I'll work on that now. :D

Kickstarter have some real good startup ideas, but usually I get there too late.

I'm scared to make the suggestion, for fear that the entire company switches over to that model to finance payroll.
