I'm downloading this now. I don't have the time to read through the config guide so I might look at this, next week. No license required, though. Looks like it will work a bit like Prime Collaboration.

tldr - the video explains this will translate your qos design / intent, into switch/router/wifi/etc/ configurations. I need this.

Interesting. I like the idea and direction this is going. This has been needed for years.

I mean seriously how hard was it for them to slap a web-UI on autoQoS and have it spit out custom builds?

Funny video too. Thanks for sharing.

I've downloaded two .iso's and will try and play with this soon. At the moment I've basically done this set up but on our Riverbeds. I have some BASIC qos upstream but I need to make the riverbed config end-to-end. Just on my long list of things to do.

Here's that guy's youtube channel. All his videos are like this one, funny and informative.

There's also vsauce2 and vsauce3 whom are buy other people.

Sadly yes. But I also just recently found out that with Discord and other streaming services you can make money just by playing video games and streaming it live. People PAY to watch this!

I mean. Come on dude...

Yeah seriously... Twitch guys make six figures streaming video games and begging for donations... I don't get it.

Makes me feel so old, even south park made an episode about it.

I'll never ever understand why game streaming is a thing, esp watching a game you don't intend to play. WTF is with that.

It's talk radio for the kids.

I can understand some of these strategy games. I play Clash of Clash alot and I do spend a little bit of time watching youtube videos of attacks and strategy. So I can see watching to pick up tips and tricks. Also there is some serious tournaments out there where people can when 6 figures. So watching those like football or baseball I can understand.

Watching for tips/tricks or walkthroughs is one thing, or quick 'play of the day' type snippets (no I don't play overwatch!!) but just watching some rando talk over him playing a game is like WTF, how much of your  brain do you have to turn off.

George Carlin was a prophet.

I was about to say that fans of a game may want to see someone play out a really stupid tactic or strategy so that they don't have to do it themselves, but then I decided that would be too far off topic, so I didn't.

Also it would mean revealing that I'm watching some of those and that would reduce my street cred around here... :'(

I was watching Family Guy (for some reason it was streamed on Youtube last night so ended up watching it on the TV) and Family Guy mentioned "who's this Ray William Johnson person, no one knows, who cares..." - This is another youtuber although his channel used to be funny.

But I'm going to try and set up this QoS VM now and see how it goes.

Side note, if you click the arrow icon (with the red square brackets either side) while composing a message, it makes the message box show the real-world content instead of the tags and markup. It's a lot easier to read, and I'm probably last to the game on this one  :squint:

I watch twitch streamers, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Most of the time I will watch streamers who play games I am playing, or play games I am interested in and want to see what it is like (live), without having to download it, get my butt to my computer, and play. I can just lay on my bed, watch it on my phone, and enjoy.

Not to mention, some of the streams are hilarious. (GTA V RP for example)
Sys Admin: "You have a stuck route"
Me: "You have an incorrect Default Gateway"

I used to get a kick out of watching StoneMountain64 or whatever his name was... but it was always the youtube videos that got to the chase.  Caught up to him on Twitch and after 20 minutes I was wondering wtf I was doing with my life. xD  It's all fake appreciation for his fans for money... I can't stand fakeness.
