Any recommendations?  I'm just looking to do the written for now.  The less money I have to spend, the better.

you just missed out on INE's xmas sales, they do some pretty decent deals....

can't comment on price but any of the big known vendors (IPexpert, INE etc.) should fit the bill

I'd grab the official cert guides anyway, if nothing else they come with loads of exam questions - 592 in vol. 1, 508 in vol. 2. Given that v5 is still kinda new I think its a good thing to get something consolidated - I have pretty much read everything on the list anyway but there is just so freaking much that I think I'll just roll with the OCG when it comes to cramming for the written. Also I find that for the more esoteric (I call them straight up BS) topics lol like finicky AAA or random obscure IP service XYZ there isn't any other 'textbooks' so its either the OCG or google for the appropriate config guide/tech note and then file it away.

Yes - just got the OCG volumes in yesterday.  Darn my luck on missing the sale.  I've learned over time that I like to augment book studies with videos.  It usually provides another perspective, and sometimes seeing someone explain it on a whiteboard just makes some things click that you may not get yourself from reading text.

I second INEs material. Email sales and see if they will match their specials or give you a discount. If you ask I dont think you ever have to pay full price with INE ;)

Check out IPExpert too they have solid content as well.
