We should. I'm not a fantasy guy myself. I just like to pick the winners in each game and thereby discover where the close matches between top teams are - those are the best games to watch. A pick 'em between Cleveland and Jacksonville? Pass. A toss-up between the Steelers and the Texans? Yes, please!

In other news, I'm glad to see Vontaze Burfict get a suspension. Guy has been making cheap shots time and again, he's a liability.

meh...that specific hit was legal. No offense to the soccer fans of the forum but american football is getting so sissified that we might as well start playing soccer here soon lol. (yes that was meant as a joke "kinda").

If there's a way to play the game without creating conditions that lead to players suffering premature dementia and other mental disorders, I'm all for it.

it's called 'flag football' that's where I predict it will end up, either that most will quit the league due to the head injury issue, and others will not follow into the sport for the same reason. the leagues will eventually fold when there are not enough players. This scenario probably won't happen, there always some fool with dollars in their eyes not to care enough about their health for money.  I read some time ago that the average life span of a NFL football player is something like 53.

Soo... People wonder why I am depressed.

In 2016, the bills got Reggie Ragland.

We traded up to get him. To get him we gave up a 49th overall pick (2nd round), and a 117th (4th round) pick to move up to the 41st overall pick (2nd round).

WE JUST TRADED HIM AFTER 1 YEAR OF INJURY AND 1 BAD MINICAMP FOR A 2019!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4TH ROUND PICK

Ouch. Meanwhile, there's Dak Prescott getting picked up in the bottom half of the draft, making clubs all over the land kick themselves that they didn't draft him sooner... But, really, I've always seen the draft not as an opportunity to find the next Johnny Manziel, but as a chance to get lots of cheap talent and then try it out on the field to see how the puzzle pieces fit together. More pieces, more chances of finding fits.

If there's stability in the coaching and management, then there's dynasty building going on. The best clubs have the most stable staffs. Look at Pittsburgh and New England and Green Bay. Dallas is getting there again, with Jason Garrett being the first coach in a long time to be a coach with a long time at that club.

OK, Patriots vs. Chiefs tonight. Should be a good game if the Chiefs do their part and step up to the challenge. I have no doubt that the Patriots will do all they can to play great football, those guys are a machine.
