Label printer recommendation?

I've gotten fed up with my label printer, a Brother P-Touch Edge.  It wastes so much paper, I find it impossible to print a row of labels for a patch panel (putting in any more than 2 ports gives a "Text Limit!" error).  It's an exercise in frustration.

Surely there's a label printer that works for us?  Easy to print a row of labels for a patch panel, switch to a label for a faceplate, and back again without adjusting a ton of options to make the text fit right?  Any recommendations?

Look up the Dymo Rhino and see if that product checks off your boxes. Those things are for industrial applications, should be up to the task.

I have two different ones.

The Brady BMP 21-PLUS which I use mainly for cable wraps on important links.

The device itself was super cheap compared to the Panduit LS8 I used to use, but the labels are similarly priced.

If you can afford it, do check out that Panduit device.

For standard device labeling, I also have a P-Touch PT-E110VP but that's what you have now :-)

Dymo Rhino 6000 user here.  I highly recommend this one.  It has put up with a lot of wear and tear and print good labels.
