its a shame we did lose a lot of good regulars. And we're all getting older and fatter by the minute lol.

InfoSec Institute still owns the domain. Registration expires on 2022-03-03. Sad to see it gone, and just hanging out in limbo.

Well, if they had just taken the time to listen to us and our concerns, we wouldn't have had to build out a new place. So it goes. I'm glad that we're where we are, we have a good host, and we're picking up on the walk-in traffic like at the old old place. We're keeping the spammers out (or at least minimizing the damage of spammers that offer up quality Linux-related content as part of their spam spew) and the good stuff in.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

I was only on that forum for about a year before it went downhill. All I really remember is getting some really good early career advice back when my skill set started and ended at "shut/no shut"
