Polling Wireless Controllers

Had an issue come up with an Aruba WLC. The basic question is, how often can we pull the active user list and MAC address list before the Aruba WLC starts to have problems? We don't need to do it more often than once per 2 minutes, but the customer would like to know what the limits are.

Any ideas on that? Customer also asked that we not run any experiments on this matter on their production network, in so many words...
