hello. This is my common question.
I am very confused.

Actually I am a CTS - cognizant employee. Last week i had resigned my job. It's doesn't matter.

Then i got an offer letter from HCL technologies as a system engineer.
I have planned to join HCL next week. last month I got a call from wipro contractors. They asked me do you have interest to join wipro. Then I told YES.

Now, I got an offer from HCL.

yesterday wipro contractors called me. They told,  "your profile has been shortlisted as Windows server administrator without interview"
Then I said i got an offer from HCL.

Wipro contractors got an angry. Then they told, why do you told me I have interest to join in wipro. You are getting better offer in wipro than HCL. So you can drop your HCL offer. your profile got selected by high reference without interview. Wipro HR accepted our reference. So don't leave. If you're leaving we'll block your profile.

then I said,  " ok! First give me an offer letter. Then i will consider it.

They told,  " we didn't confirm your salary. After confirmation we will rise your offer letter. "

Actually my problem. My HCl offer postponed to coming Wednesday because of this issue. I asked a permission for this HCL joining.

what will I do

Reggle

Stay fair with all parties would be my first advice. Second, what job do you want? I would personally prefer system engineer over pure Windows. Maybe you see it differently, that's a matter of preference.

If the Wipro offer is better, accept it. I am familiar with HCL as a pure sysadmin/Windows support company, but with Wipro as a networking support company. If you have an interest in networking and Wipro has a better offer, that may be the way you want to go.

As Reggle said, stay fair with all parties. Be polite and considerate. It does sound like there may be some high-pressure tactics being used: do not ever lose your temper or argue with them, but also hold firm. You have much more negotiating power than you realize. Just keep your cool and you'll come through all right.

And for him to say he's blocking your profile, that sounds like a standard move... if someone isn't actively working with you and has a job elsewhere, don't bother him about job offers for a while.

If I choose wipro offer. How can I believe this. I got selected in wipro but without interview. I don't have any proof I'm selected or not.
But I've an offer from HCL in my hand.

Actually, i had attended phone interview from wipro. But, my profile was rejected and that wipro has to be reconsider my profile.

The contractor only told like this.

Some firms have very urgent needs to staff contracts, that they will be willing to consider some applicants without screening them themselves. They will trust the staffing company to send them a good candidate.

If the Wipro offer does not show up before you start at HCL, you should start at HCL and politely decline the Wipro offer, unless it is substantially better than the HCL offer. If the Wipro offer shows up before you start at HCL, and it is a better offer, then you will be politely declining the HCL position. Either way, you will be politely declining one company or the other.

it's all about you and keeping your best interest at heart.  there is nothing wrong with accepting a job, and if a better one comes along, even after only a few days, to accept the better job, and give notice that things are not as expected at the current job and go start the new job.  remember it's business, not a personal thing.
