Ever since I was a baby I dreamed of posting this to networking-forums. I watched all the greats of our group hit this status. Well I did that yesterday in RTP.

NICE!!!!
I am filled with envy now

Hurry up and update your certs :-D

Thanks guys.

Next is going deeper into DC. SDN, Automation and Virtual networking. Im about 90% sure my CSR lab at home is gonna get blow out and OpenStack and NSX will be installed PDQ.

Now if I just knew someone who could get me some Arista gear and CloadVision i could churn some sick blog post!!

VCP-NV is on the radar as its a quick hit and a good intro into virtual networking. Not sure if I can stomach another certs this year though.

Heh, you do know someone - your local Arista rep.   :problem?:

If you want to dig into SDN, yet insist on hardware instead of leveraging vEOS... I'm going to slap you :).  The only things you can't really do in vEOS are hardware-specific things tied to the actual ASIC. CloudVision is meant as a turnkey solution for large enterprises - probably a little overkill for a home lab. ;)

Attached is a picture of my desktop at the time of this posting... I'm running MLAG, BGP, VXLAN, bootstrapping the vEOS instances with Zero-Touch Provisioning(ZTP) and then automating configuration with Ansible... all in vEOS, set up in VirtualBox, which GNS3 has a direct hook into.  It's marvelous.  You could do the same thing on a server and set up the virtual-to-physical connections to tie it into your lab.
