anyone out here using Spirent Avalanche NEXT for traffic generation on the networks?

work is looking to procure.  just looking for feedback from existing users.....

We're looking to get one in, hopefully permanently. It's the right size and the right price for what we need. Lots of neato things it can do, and we plan to use a lot of them for a vendor bakeoff coming up soon.
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

Have not used them directly but went to their campus for Network Field Day 8 a few months back. Very impressed with what they offer and would love to give them a go for perf testing.

Several people from the Twitter have said great things about them.

I have some experience on BreakingPoint boxes, which is now Ixia.  If you haven't checked out their offerings, you should do that before purchasing the NEXT.

Do they offer a low-end product? We're cheapskates around here.

I'm not sure on the low end stuff.  All of my pricing goes back a few years, and the wire rate 10G stuff was not cheap back then.
