Hey everyone, I've read a bunch of different views on this topic. I historically stop 24 hours before my exam but wanted to get some feedback from the group.

When do you stop studying for an exam? Do you do anything to relax or purposely remove your brain from "study mode?"

The evening before usually, and I do some flashcards (Junos Genius App for example) or rehearse some mnemonics before the exam.

I stop studying when I go to bed the night before my exam, unless I can cram in a few more bits and peaces... mainly cause I hate to waste my money on failed exams

I definitely stop studying after I pass the exam... But I also prefer to schedule my exams for right after I feel like I'm done studying. I finish the book, do a bunch of labbing, get good results, feel confident... then schedule the exam for a day or two later and do labs and sample questions in the meantime. Review only - no new material.

I have historically began my studying and about half way through the book and/or course I will schedule the exam for a few weeks out. This forces me to get serious and get it done. I also usually stop studying the night before but my upcoming exam is in the afternoon so I'm thinking about doing a good review that morning.

Last week is usually all about passing the test. If there are practice test out there the last week is dedicated to them and flashcards if Im using them. Day of test Im reviewing all those stupid topics I have to keep memorized.

I prefer to continue right up to the night before. I also like to skim through notes right before a test as well.

Stop studying? What do you mean? I'm reading my study book and notes on the train in to the exam centre. Even if I'm pretty confident I know everything, I'll go over bit's and pieces randomly and keep refreshing. Usually I find other details which will make more sense and occasionally I find other things I did miss or it's tucked away in the back of my head somewhere.
