Re-imaging laptops in our Sri Lanka office

I've written full step by step instructions which requires very little thought except to read and do what it says. I think it was a complete waste of time to spend an hour or so writing the instructions because even with them in front of the person (who is my "smart hands") they're not followed

I came to the idea that, it would be nice to make a boot cd which loads imaging tools as it does now, but also gives remote access to control the machine it's booted. May be something like a java (caugh) console session, like what you can do with some systems, like watchguard firewalls do when you HTTP to them and they give you a Linux gnome gui within a browser.

This way, I just need someone to put the CD in and boot from it.

So if anyone reads this who is clever enough and knowledgeable enough to make the boot CD, I'm happy for you to steal my idea as long as you let me have it for free

Wintermute is a friggin' GENIUS, I tell ya! 

But, yeah, Teamviewer. There are a few other reputable vendors out there that have web-based and other solutions for remote handling of workstations. Heck, I remember PC Anywhere from 1995-1996.

I'd probably be inclined towards PXE boot myself, though the specifics of how to automate it completely are beyond my ken (thankfully so!)

Whatever OS-like gui system that boots from the CD or USB, needs to be able to run teamviewer and I don't know if that is possible.
