Thinking about picking this 3560 up for dirt cheap on ebay

I have a 3550 and 2 2960s now but I'd like to have more options such as qos, ipv6, private vlans, etc. Also, just to have two layer 3 switches in general would be a bonus. What do you guys think of this?  Not really buying it to study for my ccnp switch exam since I take that this Saturday. Thoughts on this 3560?

That's a good price for a model with PoE. Can 't go wrong with it imho

I've got that exact model lying here, got me through CCNP. I just paid a lot more for it back then.
Very happy with it, but two remarks: it doesn't run 15.0 IOS and it has no gigabit ports.

Personally I would save up on a 15.0 IOS capable model these days, but I don't think you'll find one of these at at least 4 times that price.

I ended up going with the CISCO WS-C3750-48TS-E Catalyst 3750. Unfortunately, can't upgrade to IOS 15 but I think I'll be pretty happy with this purchase to go along with my 3550 for now.

I have a 3560-8 POE which I'm running IOS 15.x on. Great little switch. Would be even better if it was gigabit :)

Exact same model. Using it at home for 5 years now already. My current internet subscription is 100 Mbps down, one higher and the switch can't follow. Unfortunately, to replace it I'll need gigabit, layer 3 and PoE, which comes at quite the price.
